Ideally as a Sewing Machinist you will be experienced in one of the following:
- Seamer
- Locksticher
- Bartacker
- Overlocker
- Linker
However, training can be provided for those candidates who already have experience as a domestic machinist and wish to have a career as a Sewing Machinist and have an strong interest in textile.
The successful Sewing Machinist will:
- Ideally have previous experience within textiles
- Have excellent hand eye co-ordination.
- Have their own transport or reliably able to commute to the remote location.
