Sewing MachinistLevel 2 Apprenticeship Within Manufacturing

Apprenticeship Programme

You will be working towards a Level 2 Intermediate Sewing Machinist qualification, whilst developing your skills and knowledge with on-the-job training and experiences. You will have the opportunity to spend 20% of your week learning with an external training provider working towards an externally recognised qualification. The following 80% of your time will be based at Bentley’s headquarters in Crewe, you’ll work alongside industry-leading experts gaining practical knowledge of what you are studying, take part in corporate social responsibility initiatives and grow your networks, equipping you with personal and professional training and development to accelerate your career.

Vehicle Interior

Vehicle Interior sits alongside the Production Function within the umbrella of Manufacturing. The department is undergoing a significant strategic change to achieve our ambitions for the future, and become the benchmark for luxury, sustainable interiors. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Being mentored by expert crafts people you’ll learn complex processes and skills, whilst creating the sustainable luxurious interiors Bentley is renowned for
  • Work to Quality standards to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Follow process documentation such as risk assessments, process steps and key procedures
  • Learn the different sewing techniques such as Flat, Decorative and Hand Sewing
