Stratton Mills is an employment company that provides Fashion & Manufacturing Personnel around the UK. We have a great opportunity for Sewing Machinists. Successful candidates will be offered full-time shifts on a temp-to-perm basis.
BREAKDOWN OF THE SEWING MACHINIST ROLE:
• Products: Vehicle Seat Covers, Vehicle Hoods, Cargo Nets
• Salary: £11.50 - £12.00 per hour
• Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week); Mon.-Thurs. 8AM-5PM and Fri 8AM-1.30PM
• Immediate Start
• Location: Leicester, United Kingdom
DUTIES FOR THE SEWING MACHINIST ROLE:
• Follow operating instructions for the Industrial Sewing Machines: Overlocking, Twin Stitch, Walking Foot, Lockstitch
• Draw threads through needles and adjust machine functions to meet the requirements of the sewing project.
IDEAL SEWING MACHINIST CANDIDATE:
• Previous experience in operating Industrial Sewing Machines: minimum 5 years experience in industrial sewing and thick fabrics
• Experience in sewing seat covers
• English level - Intermediate
