We are currently recruiting for a Sewing Machinist to work within our Sewing Shop who will be assembling, cutting and stitching all fabric and webbing parts required for Seat Assembly and Survival aid containers.

Working as a machinist you will use templates to cut and mark fabric prior to sewing and follow technical drawings and build plans to manufacture components from appropriate fabrics using industrial sewing machines.

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Able to use an industrial sewing machines.
  • Understanding of weft and weave.
  • Experience of sewing different materials, webbing etc.
  • Working to verbal instructions on development jobs where drawings do not yet exist.
