We recruit, train and support carers who offer accommodation in their own home to people with care and support needs. This enables them to share in family life, develop skills and maintain their independence.

Having been established for 20 years, we have a wealth of experience and expertise when it comes to supporting adults with care and support needs and enabling our carers to provide support within their own homes.
We are now looking for a Shared Lives Assistant to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 30 hours per week.

The Role
As a Shared Lives Assistant, you will deliver high quality, person-centred Shared Lives services.
Supporting carer assessments and referrals, you will provide administrative assistance at every stage from enquiry to panel review, present referrals at meetings and work with local authority partners.
You will also support our Carers to meet the requirements of the scheme and the relevant CQC regulatory framework.
Additionally, you will:
- Promote our services, values and ethos
- Represent us at appropriate public meetings and events
- Maintain accurate, timely and concise records
About You
To be considered as a Shared Lives Assistant, you will need:
- Experience in a similar health and social care role
- Experience working in partnership with statutory agencies and care managers
- Experience working within a regulatory framework or with national minimum standards
- Knowledge of, and a commitment to, person centred approaches to care and support
- A Level 2 qualification in health and social care (experience and comparable training and/or evidence of skills will be considered)
