Main Purpose of the job:
To assess carers to provide appropriate accommodation, care and support for vulnerable people
Recruit, screen and train Shared Lives carers, ensuring all background checks are carried out to CQC, Lewisham and Shared Lives Plus standards.
Match approved Shared Lives carers with service users referred to the scheme based on the needs of the service user and the skills, lifestyle and aptitude of the carer.
Offer continuous support to Shared Lives carers, including managing performance of the carer, the condition of the home environment and any ongoing learning and development needs.
