JOB TITLE: SHEQ Advisor / Compliance Advisor
PACKAGE: £32-35k plus Company car, Pension and company benefits
LOCATION: You will be located in the following area: Beeston, Bramcote, Derby, and surrounding areas but travel will be required across the UK
PREVIOUS RELEVANT TITLES: SHEQ Advisor, HSEQ Officer, Compliance Advisor, Health & Safety Environmental and Quality Advisor, Lead Auditor
ROLE: Health and Safety, Environmental & Quality / SHEQ Compliance Advisor
You will support the SHEQ Manager in the compliance management for a company with multiple sites
This is a great opportunity for someone to progress their career in the growing sector of waste management.
You will be responsible for Health and Safety working practices that are then effectively communicated to the workforce
You will ensure the site works within permitted environmental regulations and that quality
You will perform regular health and safety, environmental and quality audits
Maintenance of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
You will be involved in HSE and EA liaison
You will be targeted at minimising accidents and near misses on site and maintaining the highest standards of outputted product
EXPERIENCE: Health and Safety, Environmental & Quality / SHEQ Advisor
You will have experience in a similar role including: SHEQ Advisor, HSEQ Officer, Compliance Advisor, Health & Safety Environmental and Quality Advisor, Lead Auditor
You will be a practical and professional individual with a hands on approach to Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental issues
You will have a NEBOSH General or higher and may be affiliated to IOSH, IOSH or NEBOSH environmental qualifications a plus.
Experience building relationships with the Health & Safety Executive
Experience of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, IEMA Auditor qualification a plus
You MUST demonstrate stability in previous roles.
You will have an industry recognised qualification e.g. IOSH Managing Safely, IOSH Environmental, NEBOSH General, NEBOSH Diploma, NEBOSH Environmental or be working towards them
You may be affiliated e.g AIOSH, TechIOSH, GradIOSH, CMIOSH, CFIOSH, IEMA
