Your new role
The SHEQ Manger will take the lead in developing, maintaining, and monitoring all the requirements relevant to the accreditations currently held within the health, environmental and quality legislation. Ensuring company systems and process are utilised uniformly throughout the business and identifying areas for improvement & modernisation.
Key parts of the role:

• Lead the management and maintenance of the Integrated Management System throughout the Group, making modifications when and where required.
• Monitor through inspections, surveillance and audits, compliance to the systems to ensure certification is maintained.
• Ad hoc SHEQ inspections of active sites and workshops & depot
• Assist with the setting and monitoring of company\'s targets and objectives concerning safety, health, environmental and quality issues.
• Produce a monthly report and attend monthly Senior Management Meetings reporting on relevant matters within the scope of the role.
• Undertake in-house training days and Toolbox Talks as and when appropriate.
• Communicate safety, health, environmental and quality issues to employees as appropriate.
• Undertake audits to ensure compliance to safety, health, environmental and quality legislation.
• Investigate accidents / incidents and subsequent reports to HSE where required under RIDDOR.
• Ensure all works required for Health and Safety Plan are carried out at required timescales.

What you\'ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate
• Strong understanding of the CDM Regulations
• Temporary Works
• Relevant experience within the industry
