TITLE: SHEQ Manager – Waste and Recycling
CLIENT: My client has gained an excellent reputation in the Waste Management and Recycling industry.
I am now recruiting on their behalf for a highly experienced Compliance / SHEQ Manager with a fantastic understanding of Health and Safety practices to join their company.
Package: £50k plus Pension
Location: Ipswich and surrounding areas (Relocators welcome)
Previous industries: Waste Management, Recycling, Clinical waste, Hazardous waste, Heavy Industry, Organic Waste, Agriculture.

ROLE - Compliance / SHEQ Manager – Waste Management & Recycling
This position will see you liaising with the Environmental Agency, building and maintaining excellent working relationships.
You will also be overseeing the health and safety practices with better quality procedures.
Ensuring that all Health and Safety regulations and environmental legislations are being adhered to.
A good understanding of ISO accreditation and the auditing of 18001, 45001 and 9001 in implementation and maintenance.
Working to meet and exceed company H&S performance KPI’s as set out.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Compliance / SHEQ Manager
Previous experience in a compliance role within Logistics, Heavy Industry or Waste Management
NEBOSH General / Diploma or NVQ Occupational Health is required
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Be able to well work as part of a team and to your own initiative.
