Shift Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated Shift Electrical Engineer to oversee all installation, reactive maintenance, and upkeep operations of our company's electrical systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that our machinery and equipment are running smoothly and reliably.

Description

• Ensure all maintenance tasks are conducted in a safe, efficient and compliant manner.
• Contribute to the development of maintenance procedures and best practices.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
• Inspect equipment, diagnose faults and malfunctions, and provide feedback to management.
• Coordinate with other team members to fix electrical or machinery issues.
• Participate in the planning and execution of project work.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in the training of new team members in the department.

Profile

A successful Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer should have:

• NVQ Level 3 or above
• A proven track record in an electrical maintenance role in the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
• A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
