Description
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are conducted in a safe, efficient and compliant manner.
- Contribute to the development of maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
- Inspect equipment, diagnose faults and malfunctions, and provide feedback to management.
- Coordinate with other team members to fix electrical or machinery issues.
- Participate in the planning and execution of project work.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the training of new team members in the department.
Profile
A successful Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer should have:
- NVQ Level 3 or above
- A proven track record in an electrical maintenance role in the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
- A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
