Length: 3 months temporary contract to permanent
Work hours: The shifts are 4 days daytime 4 days off then 4 days night shift 4 days off. 6am till 6pm and 6pm to 6am
Pay Rate: 15.38/hour PAYE + 15% shift allowance
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Shift Engineer (Mechanical Bias) for a FM Services and Engineering company. In this role you will work alongside a dynamic maintenance team to deliver the required services, ensuring the Hospital is maintained to the highest standard. Some of other duties include;
Carry out maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection of building, mechanical and electrical services, associated systems, plant and equipment in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures.
Participate in a rotating shift pattern in order to provide a 24/7/365 service
Provide cover for absent colleagues as appropriate to maintain the service
Carry out duties in accordance with safe working practices within statutory, NHS, Trust and Company guidelines.
Assist other skilled trades in carrying out maintenance, repairs, testing, inspection and installation work.
Undertake training to maintain and develop skills in line with the requirements of the service.
Key Skills/Experience:
Qualified time served engineer with minimum 3 years post apprenticeship experience required
Healthcare experience desirable but not essential
Cross-trade experience advantageous
