Shift Manager

Brightwork recruitment are looking for an experienced Shift Manager for our client. A well known and successful food production company based in Fife.
You will be supporting the Production Manager by providing leadership, direction and driving performance across the shift, in an efficient cost-effective manner.
Your Time at Work
Shift pattern would be early shift / back shift rotation ( 1 week on each)
Early shift - 07:00 - 15:30
Back Shift 14:30 - 22:30
- Develop & implement all production processes, whilst maintaining standards and making
changes as required;
- Ensure the smooth running and operation of the factory during the shift
- Monitor production standards and highlight issues immediately to Site Manager, if unresolved;
- Develop staff within the team, overseeing all training
- Conduct all personnel management such as annual leave sign off and appraisals
- Motivate and provide clear direction to team leaders and staff
- Ensure product quality meets, or exceeds, specification
- Ensure the best Good Manufacturing Practices are adopted at all times
- Support all customer, regulatory or accreditation body enquiries, site visits and audits are dealt
with in a timely and appropriate manner.
