Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure that all food preparation and cooking processes are carried out efficiently and according to established standards
- Manage and lead a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other managers to develop and implement strategies for improving overall restaurant performance
Experience:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the food service industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and food safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with bartending or hotel operations is a plus
