Shop Floor Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team. As a Shop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our shop. This is a paid position that requires strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

Duties:
- Greet customers and provide assistance with their inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Assist customers in finding the products they need
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Upsell products to increase sales revenue
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Provide product recommendations based on customer needs
- Assist with inventory management and restocking

Experience:
- Bilingual skills (English and another language) preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers
- Ability to upsell products and communicate the value to customers
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately
- Excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls
- Organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Multilingual abilities are a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £11.00-£11.40 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
