As Shopper Marketing Manager you will lead the in-store plans for your Customers. Working cross-functionally to develop and execute activation plans of both online and offline, using insight to ensure that the Brand and Media strategies are represented in the retailer environment to hit specific KPI’s.


Your Tasks

Strategy

  • Develop and execute Shopper Marketing plans, both instore and online, for defined customer/channel/brand category to deliver excellence in execution
  • Leveraging key retailer assets and omni-channel capabilities, identifying future opportunities for shopper engagement
  • Develop channel specific plans using insight to maximise the greatest impact with the retailer
  • Provide recommendations on Shopper Marketing activities supporting in-store initiatives which maximise sales performance for BDF brands and the category in line with agreed business objectives
  • Make suggestions to the Brand team to optimise their plans instore using the ‘instore drive plan’ to steer when media should be executed
  • Liaise with the NAM’s to ensure that key priorities are executed in store and highlight any opportunities to them
  • Manage relationships with creative agencies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and within brand guidelines
  • Be the lead on certain categories working closely with the Brand Manager and agencies to create a compelling Shopper Activation strategy

Insights

  • Using insights to build Shopper Marketing plans that deliver for the retailer and for Beiersdorf
  • Respond to category challenges working on solutions based on insight that will deliver against our KPI’s
  • Working with the Operational Excellence teams (ECM, OPEX) to ensure that insights are translated to in-store and online plans

Budget Management

  • Plan, manage and report on the annual Shopper Marketing budget throughout the financial year for specific customers (to be defined)
  • Lead of ROI analysis of Shopper Marketing spend, ensure that the business understands the return for each activity type. Sharing findings with the Sales, Marketing and Finance teams and amended plans based on findings
  • Working with the agencies to drive cost efficiencies

Your Profile

  • Experience in Marketing, Sales, Category or Buying
  • This role would suit an individual looking for the next step in their career
  • FMCG experience advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, skilled influencer with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Organised
  • Strong people skills with the ability to build rapport and effective relationships quickly with diverse range of people
  • Team player
