Shot Blaster

Pertemps West Bromwich are currently looking for an experienced Shot Blaster to work night shifts for a well renowned client based in Wednesbury.
This position will be working 18:00-04:00 Monday - Friday paying £12.54 per hour inclduing shift allowance.
Responsibilities:

• Operate Shot Blasting Equipment: Utilize shot blasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces according to project specifications.
• Surface Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of surfaces to ensure proper cleaning and preparation for coatings.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
• Maintenance and Calibration: Perform routine maintenance on shot blasting equipment and ensure proper calibration for optimal performance.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control to meet project requirements.
• Communication: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities and address any issues that may arise during the shot blasting process.

Previous shot blasting and foundry experience are an essential for this role.
