Shovel Driver

Proactive Personnel are recruiting for up to 5 Shovel Drivers for a leading company in the Ellesmere Port area

Our client is looking for someone who has experience operating heavy machinery and enjoys working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Job Role:

• Operating shovel whilst loading and unloading materials in the yard.
• Ensuring that the standard of the yard is maintained and kept clean and tidy.
• Handling the product with care to ensure minimum damage at all times.
• Carry out pre-use checks on shovel and report any damage/faults to manager.
• Grease shovel as per maintenance schedule.
• Direct raw material lorries to correct bay and inform QC.
• Adhering to all Health and Safety compliance policies and procedures in place.
• Any other reasonable request by a manager.

Hours of work:

Week 1: 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday

Week 2: 2pm to 10.30pm Monday to Thursday 2pm to 8pm Friday

Requirements:

• Shovel licence mandatory
• Previous experience operating a loading shovel.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good level of understanding and spoken English.
• Ability to take direction and following instruction.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Salary: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
