We are seeking a part-time Retail Assistant to work in our Bath Showroom, for 20 hours a week across Monday - Saturday.
As the successful candidate, you will be able to provide excellent, professional, knowledgeable and personalised customer service to customers in the showroom and on the phone as well as liaise with our Suffolk workshop to ensure smooth completion of all orders.
This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of ensuring our heritage of designing and manufacturing award-winning products is maintained.
The Key areas of responsibility will be:
- Promote and maintain the Jim Lawrence brand reputation and ensure the showroom, stockroom, and all displays are presented to the highest possible standards.
- Assist with keeping the showroom, its facilities, and shop-front clean, tidy and up to date by following the pre-determined daily tasks.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Create customer accounts, quotations, sales orders, sales returns, and maintain up-to date notes on customer requirements.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and queries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Jim Lawrence products and processes to confidently offer customers creative and practical advice and recommendations when needed.
- Liaise with other departments within the company as required.
- Support Hadleigh Customer Service team as and when required to do so.
- Assist with other areas of the business as required.
