Showroom Sales Designer

Job Description: My client is a luxury Tile and Bathroom retailer who are seeking a talented and experienced Sales Designer to join their team in Reading. As a Sales Designer, you will primarily focus on bathrooms and tiles, assisting customers in designing their dream bathrooms and selecting the perfect tiles to create stunning spaces. Your role will involve providing expert product knowledge, exceptional customer service, and generating sales through effective design consultations.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to understand their requirements and preferences.
• Use your expertise to guide customers in selecting bathroom fixtures, fittings, and tiles that suit their needs and personal style.
• Offer design advice and recommendations to help customers make informed decisions.
• Create detailed bathroom layouts, taking into account measurements, plumbing requirements, and aesthetic considerations.
• Utilize 3D design software or other design tools to visually present proposed bathroom designs to customers.
• Provide accurate product information, including pricing, availability, and installation requirements.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and product innovations in the bathroom and tile industry.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sales Designer in the bathroom and tile industry or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of bathroom fixtures, fittings, and tile materials, as well as their installation requirements.
• Proficiency in using 3D design software or other design tools to create visual representations of proposed designs. Ideally Virtual Worlds
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively understand and address customer needs.
• A passion for design, creativity, and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Sales-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
