SalaryOur client based in Telford are looking for Shunter driver to join them on a temporary to permanent basis after a qualifying period.
Pay:
£15.60 p/h
Days of work:
4 on 4 off (days and nights rotating)
Hours:
19.00-7.00 nights / 0700-1900 days
Duties include:
- Safely move trailers to/from the parking area onto the loading bay
- Daily vehicle, trailer, and driver checks
- Completing relevant paperwork
- Occasionally drive to a customer
- Communicating with the transport office via radio
Key skills:
- Must be reliable.
- Must have HGV Class 1 Licence
- Valid CPC Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph
- Attention to detail.
- Previous shunting experience desirable
- Ability to follow written instructions and procedures in English
- Understanding of H&S Procedures.
- Ability to Communicate effectively in English with colleagues and Line Manager
