Shutdown Manager

We are looking for a Shutdown Manager to join our friendly maintenance team based at Tunstead Cement Plant in Buxton.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Shutdowqn Manager plays a vital role in the contribution to the success of annual plant shutdowns.

This role will help to deliver continuous improvement in safety & health, equipment reliability and overall R&M costs of the Cement Plant shutdown processes, building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. 

The ideal candidate for the role of Shutdown Manager will have experience of:

• IOSH Managing Safely
• CRM 2015
• Technical qualification (HNC/HND) and time served as a Mechanical Engineer
• Knowledge & experience within cement manufacturing areas is essential
• Coordinating and managing major project works, including contractor management is desirable
• Planning/scheduling software (MS Projects) experience desirable
• Computer literate, with knowledge of CMMS
