Shutdown Operatives

Fawley Refinery is the UKs largest integrated petrochemical complex that normally operates 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

In line with a planned maintenance shutdown of operations at Fawley, Trant engineering we will be looking for a number of operatives to join our team on a fixed term basis.

Due to the nature of the work significant overtime is on offer. With c. 60 hours per week on both day and night shifts there is strong earning potential.

Subsistence is available for the duration of the shutdown for applicants willing to work away.

Working outdoors in small teams and reporting to supervisors, operatives will be undertaking:

• Civil engineering works
• Site maintenance
• Cleaning operations
• Confined Space work

Requirements:

• Petrochem, civil engineering or construction site experience a bonus - concrete bunds, reinforcement, formwork, pipework, excavations, confined spaces, etc.
• Applicants will need to be reliable and responsible with a good awareness of health and safety in the workplace and a strong work ethic

Rough terrain forklift / manual handling tickets would be a bonus however training is available for applicants with the right approach and work ethic.
