Salary: £31,396 to £37,099 per annum  (Up to £39,347 per annum for an exceptional candidate) Reporting to the Cyber Security Manager, the SIEM/SOAR Engineer will support in the delivery of a secure network and infrastructure at the University of Winchester. As SIEM/SOAR Engineer, duties and responsibilities will include day to day management and review of reports, logs and actions and ensuring that all identified breaches in security are promptly and thoroughly investigated. Furthermore, you will ensure that any system changes required to maintain security are implemented and will support colleagues by giving advice and guidance on the requirements on the activities covered by the SIEM/SOAR service. Our ideal candidate will be educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent) and possess good problem-solving skills, have a strong eye for detail and spotting breaks in patterns. It would be desirable that you have experience of working in a cyber-security focused post and/or experience of working in Cyber security in the Higher Education sector.
