Job description
The Simulation Technician is a role combining technical, administrative and team working skills. The post holder will be required to exercise curiosity and creativity to technical and non-technical issues within the Medical Education Centre; also provide technical and administrative support to the MEC and faculty. The post holder will maintain and set up equipment for a wide range of simulation training sessions, including a trust-wide In-Situ programme and many nationally recognised courses. The post holder will participate in quality assurance activities and audits, supporting data capture for simulation-based activity. They will act as a point of contact for the Medical Education Centre (MEC), supporting Trust-wide access to simulation resources. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or equivalentExperience of working in a simulation or similar technical settingHold a University Degree or recognised Professional Qualification or equivalent qualification And 1 year's experience at a minimum of Band 4 Or Hold a relevant HNC / HND or equivalent /higher qualification And 2 years experience at a minimum of Band 4
