So what's the role about?
Working in a small team, you will be responsible for maintaining effective stock control of raw materials, packaging, bought-in products, and finished goods.
You will also complete all the admin tasks such as issuing goods out to other site locations and counting stock on a cyclical basis for finished goods, ordering through bulk and individual Purchase Orders, receipting of items and invoice queries. Working with the department teams, you will ensure that the stock levels are correct, ensuring the AX Computer system is fully up to date on a day-to-day basis, and be proactive in stock checking against AX reports to ensure that levels do not put production into difficulties.
What are the required skills?
Stock control experience is preferred as you will be assisting with stock takes and carrying out cycle counts.
Strong administrative and numeracy skills.
Excellent IT skills - particularly Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ideally, you’ll be able to produce and maintain spreadsheet reports/pivot tables using Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage your own workload to specific deadlines.
Good communication skills with fellow colleagues and suppliers.
