Site Agent
Location – Plymouth, Devon
Rate – £475-500 per day inside IR35 + Lodge Contribution
Duration – Long Term contract opportunity
My client has an opportunity for an ambitious and talented Agent to work for a major project in Devonport. This is a chance for an individual to join a progressive company on a major.
Site Agent Responsibilities:
- Ensure work is executed in a safe manner meeting legal guidelines set out in health safety and requirements and environmental compliance
- Day to day management of a section of works including the supervision and monitoring of the site team and supply chain
- Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to
- Safety / Quality / Programme and Production
- Manage multiple packages of work in conjunction with the commercial team taking full ownership of the costs for section of work assigned
- Manage site activities to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
- Review Method Statements and Risk Assessments and make improvements as appropriate;
- Guide and coach subordinates in technical requirements and techniques of setting out;
- Deliver end product to customer satisfaction
- Implement appropriate policies and procedures
- Promote best practice amongst engineering staff and encourage their career progression
- Develop the directly employed labour including, supervision, appraisals, training, absence management and motivation
- Ensure works are completed on time, within budget and to specification
- Develop and promote best practice and business improvement within the organisation
Site Agent Requirements:
- Previously worked on heavy Civil based projects is essential
- Previous experience working as an Agent or similar positions
- Previously managed site teams & packages of work
- Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng or equivalent)
- Holds relevant tickets/qualifications. i.e. CSCS
