A great long term opportunity for an experience Site Agent with a track record within the roads and highways sector.
The Role and Responsibilities
As Site Agent you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the delivery of the project/projects. You be responsible for rigorously applying planning techniques to ensure the continuous use of resources and sub-contractors. You will be responsible for managing sub-contractors on site and ensuring the project is running smoothly from start to finish. Building and maintaining client relationships, working with the commercial teams and managing the weekly programme.
The Company
Our client, a large Tier 1 contractor, have secured work on the Schemes Delivery Framework with National Highways. They will be responsible for multiple schemes covering highways and public realm improvements, drainage and carriageway and structural improvements.
The Requirements
The ideal Site Agent for this position will have experience working within the highways sector on highways or roads projects for National Highways. Experience working for other Tier 1 contractors and working on framework agreement schemes would be advantageous! This role could be someone of Site Manager, Sub Agent or Site Agent level, you will need to have previously run similar projects within the highways sector from start to finish. It is essential you are delivery focused and able to be based on site 5 days a week.
We do require someone that has worked for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors, and you must have a valid CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid as a minimum. If you have Streetwork s/confined space/temporary works tickets this would be advantageous.
