Exciting Opportunity for a Site Agent with My Client, a Major Tier 1 Contractor
Are you a Site Agent looking for your next challenge? Look no further! My Client, a major Tier 1 contractor, is at the forefront of delivering transformative infrastructure projects, and we're currently seeking a skilled Site Agent to join our team for a prestigious project in Didcot, Oxfordshire.
Project Overview:
We're partnering with Oxfordshire County Council on the HIF1 initiative, a multistage contract aimed at enhancing the region's transportation infrastructure. Despite initial planning objections, we're confident in the project's success and anticipate significant progress in the coming months.
This project boasts a staggering value of £200 million and beyond, underlining its scale and importance in shaping the future of the region's infrastructure.
About the Role:
As a Site Agent with My Client, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction activities for our Didcot project. This includes the coordination of resources, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining highquality standards throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing onsite operations and coordinating subcontractors.
* Overseeing health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
* Monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
* Collaborating with project stakeholders to address any issues or concerns.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Site Agent in the construction industry, preferably in highways projects.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* A solid understanding of health and safety regulations and construction practices.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workload effectively.
