Site and Field Based Engineer

We’re working with a prestigious business in Oxfordshire to assist them in their search for a highly experienced electromechanical engineer to join their business on a Site and Field basis.
The business provides UV curing technology to a variety of sectors including the print industry; their products are cutting edge, environmentally sound, and are regarded as some of the best on the market.
You will be expected to install, configure, maintain, and repair equipment as well as demonstrate a proactive approach and contribute to maintenance related activities. The systems can be complex and require quick learning and understanding.
Requirements for the successful candidate:
- A professional engineer with 3+ years of previous field experience with support of high end or complex electro-mechanical equipment highly desirable (an in-house engineer with a flexible approach, looking to move into a field-based role would also be considered)
- A technical background within the printing industry (highly advantageous)
- Knowledge of UV curing / drying technology (highly advantageous)
- Passionate about engineering and with an understanding of customer focus
- Dedicated teamworker with a proactive attitude
- The ability to interact at all levels of an organisation whether internally or externally
- A problem solver who appreciates quick action and measurable results
- Enjoys a diverse working environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills down
- Valid driving licence and passport, some national and international travel at a short notice is often required based on the needs and demands of clients
- Strong communication skills.

The salary for this position is competitive and based on experience, up to £50,000.
