Salary- Title: Site Based Maintenance Electrician
- Location: Sunderland
- Contract: Full time, permanent
- Salary: £38,000 per annum plus company van
- Hours: Monday to Friday. Weekly alternating rota: 1 week 7am to 3.30pm, following week 11am to 7.30pm
Package:
- 21 days annual holiday plus 8 bank holidays
- Loads of overtime available
- An optional oncall rota
- Ovetime rate of time and a half saturday and double time sunday
- Very multi-skilled role fabric duties included
Main Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on electrical systems and equipment.
- Conduct periodic inspections to identify issues and prevent breakdowns.
- Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues and ensure swift resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work and repairs.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified electrician with relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds).
- 18th edition city and guilds
- Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably within a commercial setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shift patterns as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
