My client was initially set up as a Communications business, designing installing, and repairing copper and fiber optic networks for clients. Within the first year of trading, it was identified that they needed to offer more to their clients and due to the development of IP technology, the introduction of a Security division into their service portfolio would allow them to offer an end-to-end solution to all clients. Due to continued expansion, my clients who are now recognized and acknowledged as a leading system integrator within the United Kingdoma requires an experienced professional to join their rapidly growing Security Division.on a prestige site in the Midlands.

As a Site Based Security Systems Service Engineer you will work on a dedicated clients sites in the Chesterfield area.with the following responsibilities and duties;
• Maintaining security systems
• Identifying faults, and repairing and replacing system components as necessary
• Completing paperwork accurately and timely
• Maintaining van stocks of materials and necessary tools
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times
To be considered for the role of Site Based Security Systems Service Engineer you will have the following knowledge, skills, experience, and attributes;
• Working knowledge of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder alarm systems (IP and analog)
• A relevant qualification or equivalent within the electrical industry
• Knowledge of current British and Security Inspectorate Standards
• Experience of working within a service environment
• Fully conversant with current products within the security industry
• Proactive and customer-focused approach to work
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to take responsibility, the capability of working on own initiative and effective as part of a team
• Smart professional appearance
• Full UK driving license
• Flexibility is required to be on standby as part of the call-out rota to meet client needs as and when needed.
In return;
Location: Attending clients Site Based in Nottinghamsire on a daily basis.
Hours of work: 8 am 4.30 pm Monday to Friday.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: GBP28,000.00 - GBP35,000.00 per year
