Our client is a UK specialist Construction, Facilities Management & Civil Engineering company. They provide services across sectors from new build to refurbishment along with supplying building solutions to commercial units such as hospitals, retailers, universities etc.
What will I be doing?
- Assist & support in the preparation, implementation & maintaining of formal Quality Assurance & Quality Control documentation on site
- Undertake Surveying and setting out duties
- Check drawings and quantities
- Plan the work and efficiently organise site operations in order to meet an agreed program of deadlines
- Liaise with any consultants and sub-contractors engaged in the project as necessary
- Supervise and monitor Junior Engineers
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
- Arrange testing of materials
- Undertake the testing and calibration of instruments used
- Liaise with management
- Introduce improvements and innovation where appropriate to areas of responsibility
- Ensure work is delivered in accordance with the specification
- Take part in and deliver a Safety Culture with the entire site team

- Experience working for Main Contractors
- Ideally previous Healthcare project experience
