Job Title:Site Engineer
Location: Projects throughout Scotland, must be willing to travel
Employment: Full time, permanent
Our client, a multi-disciplined construction & civil engineering contractor, are highly skilled within the renewable energy industry and are seeking to add an experienced Site Engineer to their team working on a wind farm projects across Central Scotland.
This is a great opportunity to become a part of a dynamic team who have great pride in the company they work for as well as building strong, longstanding relationships with their clients. It essential that you have experience within the renewable energy sector. This role is initially placed in Central Scotland however there will be occasional travel throughout the UK when required. Accommodation will be provided when working away from home.
Some responsibilities of the role include:
- Setting out and surveying works on site.
- Carry out design checks, take offs, setting out and quality control throughout the project.
- Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Ensuring the project is delivered safely adhering to strict health and safety. procedures.
- Supporting the Site Agent and Management team, and any other Site Engineering duties as required.
- Regular attendance at meetings.
Background/experience required:
- Appropriate civil engineering qualification - i.e HND/C or Degree
- Demonstrable experience in setting out, ideally on civil engineering projects.
- Pervious experience working on renewable/ wind farm projects.
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer with a civil engineering contractor.
- You must have a valid CSCS card.
- Drivers license is essential.
