SalaryRole Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer with experience in Highways to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to engage in diverse projects, including site clearance, earthworks, retaining structures, drainage, pavement, VRS, technology, gantry installation, and more. Ideal for engineers eager to learn and progress in their careers.
Responsibilities:
- Support senior engineers in delivering project scope.
- Monitor subcontractor progress and work quality on-site.
- Maintain a detailed diary, recording and raising any issues.
- Ensure subcontractor work complies with project specifications.
- Track progress, testing, and quality.
- Record as-built information and contribute to handover packs.
- Ensure health and safety compliance on-site.
- Produce and brief permits to work.
- Perform limited setting out and surveys as needed.
- Draft and distribute start-of-shift briefings.
- Monitor and report on daily work progress using Aphex.
- Re-measure completed works and maintain detailed records.
Requirements:
- Highways experience with familiarity in relevant disciplines.
- CSCS Card
- SCM Safety Critical Medical
- Highways Passport
- CAT4 HSG47 - Avoiding dangers from underground services (1-day course minimum)
