Randstad are working with a Tier 1 Highway contractor who are looking for an Engineer to join their team working on multiple locations around the M25. The Engineer will be working on the SVD (Stopped Vehicle Detection) scheme which involves the installation of new technology along section of the new start motorways so they can change over to ALR (all lanes running) motorways. This role will initially be based on nights while they complete site surveys, then moving onto days for a short planning period, before again moving onto full time nights delivering the installation works. The planned end date is Nov 2024. The two key work zones are the M25 J23-27 & M25 J5-7, with the Engineer expected to move between the two on a shift rotation.
