Are you a Site Investigation Technician looking for your next exciting position in the geotechnical industry? This Rugby based engineering consultancy are seeking an experienced ground Investigation Technician/engineer to join a specialist team on a variety of geotechnical and geo-environmental projects in the midlands. The successful Site Investigation Technician will be:
- Working 4 out of 5 working days a week on site, soil/rock logging, borehole drilling and taking samples.
- Working 1 day a in office organising samples, writing soil descriptions and focussing on admin.
- The role also provides opportunity to move into a lead role over time, taking on more responsibility and developing your career.
Therefore, to be considered for this Site Investigation technician role you must have a good amount of experience in a Site Investigation position, with an understanding of soil sampling/logging and drilling practices. You should have a relevant degree in a geology/geotechnical based subject, live commutable to Coventry and be willing to stay away from home at times for projects. A full UK Driving Licence is essential and you must also have a full right to work in the UK.
