Heritage Joiner Solutions Ltd is a bespoke joinery manufacturer and installation company specialising in traditional timber windows and doors. We operate all over the UK on listed buildings, Large Commercial projects and in conservation areas.
Experienced Self Employed Site Joiner required to work on both commercial and
domestic projects. The successful candidate must have extensive experience in the refurbishment and installation of traditional timber windows and doors including sash windows and casement windows.
Duties:
- ● Must have a proactive work ethic and when it comes to restoration work, must have a passion for historic buildings and the architecture that gives them such character.
- ● Perform carpentry tasks with the highest quality of craftsmanship in the time
- ● allotted.
- ● Keep informed of the entire project scope including revisions, change orders or
- ● changes to the scope of work and the schedule.
- ● Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the Director, Operations Manager,
- ● subcontractors, and clients.
- ● Responsible for jobsite safety, cleanliness, security and protection from the elements.
- ● Check the job pack and communicate any discrepancies to the Operations
- ● Manager.
- ● Always act in a manner as to represent the principles of Heritage Joinery Solutions Ltd.
- ● No smoking on the job.
- ● Hold themselves accountable for their work performance, actions, and appearance.
- ● Responsible for the production of projects in accordance with the plans and specifications.
- ● Maintain a good attitude even through adversity.
- ● Be able to problem solve without the direction of superiors
- ● Own Vehicle
- ● Own Tools to perform daily activities
- ● Willingness to work away from home when required
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Joiner or similar role
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and roofing
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
- Good communication and teamwork skills
A Minimum of 5 years experience working on Heritage Buildings or similar projects
- ● CSCS Gold Card - Requirement
- ● SMSTS card would be beneficial
- ● Full UK driving license is required
