Are you an experienced and dedicated Site Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in a school environment? We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled individual to join our team as a Site Manager at our school in Liverpool.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school premises, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
- Managing maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments of buildings and grounds, coordinating with external contractors as necessary.
- Conducting regular inspections to identify and address any health and safety hazards or maintenance issues promptly.
- Managing the security of the site, including access control, CCTV monitoring, and alarm systems.
- Supervising the site maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and relevant documentation.
- Liaising with school leadership, staff, and external stakeholders to understand and address any site-related requirements or concerns.

REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience of working in a similarly responsible site role, preferably within a school
- Ability to relate well to children and adults alike
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe storage of materials
- Basic Health & Safety knowledge, and willingness to adhere to the Code of Safe Working Practice
(COSWP) for Caretaking and Premises Staff
- A background in plumbing, woodwork or general 'handy-work' or DIY would be advantageous
- The willingness to learn and train on the job
- A strong work ethic, the ability to work as part of a team, and a professional and proactive attitude
