Your role as a Site Manager

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join us on this new project, the site has limited space and access, so would suit a Site Manager who has experience working on tight sites in London.

As a Site Manager you must take responsibility for the day-to-day running on site of a Reds10(UK)Ltd construction project to keep within the timescale and budget of a project, and resolve any delays or problems encountered on-site during the project.

Your responsibilities as a Site Manager at Reds10

• Demonstrate great Health & Safety stewardship, leading Reds10 Health and Safety agenda on site 
• Oversee onsite construction, establishing and managing the construction programme and ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations 
• Responsibility for management, coordination and supervision of sub-contractors  
• Set up H&S procedures and manage site HSE processes and performance 
• Develop and manage testing, commissioning and inspection programme 
• Manage soft landings plan 
• Set up sample and control panels and quality control procedures and ensure they are followed at all times  
• Source materials as required  
• Monitor and report regularly to the Operations Manager on the progress of a project including regular programme updates   

• Demonstrate great Health & Safety stewardship, leading Reds10 Health and Safety agenda on site  
• Use BIM models for information, discussing the model with the team to inform consequent execution of work.   

Your Accountabilities as a Site Manager at Reds10

• Performance of the project in terms of time, cost, quality, safety standards and client satisfaction  
• Delivery of the agreed profitability for the project.  
• Programmes are properly resourced to meet the production targets  
• Comply with all Reds10 ISO requirements such as following company policies and procedures, attending compulsory training sessions and actively working towards objectives. 

Key skills & qualifications of a Site Manager at Reds10

Required

• • SMSTS qualification essential 
  • CSCS Black/White card essential 
  • Proven ability to review and improve processes and procedures, looking for innovative and creative solutions   
  • Excellent people management skills with track record of improving and developing team  

Desired

• Ideally hold an HND/NVQ in Construction Management or similar industry-related subject 
• MCIOB preferred 
• Excellent organisational and time management skills  
• Strong verbal and written communication skill  
• Able to develop and maintain excellent working relationships and build trust with all levels of team internally and external  
• A straightforward approach, able to express information clearly and concisely   
• Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to research and an aptitude for helping other people  
• Great attention to detail, numerically literate and able to multi-task
