SalaryDCS Recruitment are looking for a Site Manager with a background in Civil engineering to join an ongoing project in Bury.
The Job:
We are looking for Civil Engineers with at least 5 years' experience of managing/supervising staff in general groundworks and civils work including drainage, curbing, reinforcement.
Your responsibilities as a site agent day to day:
* Plan and organise labour and plant on site
* Work as part of a team and maintain client relations
* Uphold high safety standards at all times
* Project a professional image and lead by example
* Maintain Quality Control
* Ensure resources are used efficiently on site and that it is a safe and tidy place to work and visit
* Control costs by monitoring them weekly
* Have a working knowledge of MS Project, maintain and update contract programmes
* Keep records and maintain an electronic filing system
* Be IT literate, able to use Word, Excel, and other electronic documentation
* Manage and reduce waste
What you will need:
* Experience in a variety of Civil Engineering disciplines
* HND/H.NC or higher
* Valid CSCS card
* SMSTS qualification
* First aid at work qualification
* Competency in Health and Safety practice
* A good knowledge of Environmental Management
* Current valid driving license
