Site Manager - Civils and Groundworks
Location: Bristol, UK
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of site operations, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities.
- Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project goals.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets the specified standards and complies with health and safety regulations.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and control costs, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Client Liaison: Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and the project team to ensure expectations are met.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all site activities, including progress reports and health and safety documentation.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Site Manager in the civils and groundworks sector.
- Qualifications: Relevant construction management qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 6, SMSTS, CSCS card).
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Bristol.
