The company:
A privately owned multi-disciplinary main contractor that specialism in student accommodation, hotels, leisure, retail, distribution, highways and bridges.
The role:
Site Manager working as part of large project team and responsible for managing Section 278 roadworks section of a new build development. You will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Management of the works package and incumbent subcontrators.
- Checking RAMS and ensure safe systems of work are adhered to.
- Inductions and tool box talks.
- Issuing permits to work.
- Maintain orders for subcontractors.
- Maintaining drawings registers.
- ensuring Traffic Management plans are checked and current.
About you
To be successful in this position you will need:
- Extensive experience in delivering Section 278 works packages
- Current SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid
- NRSWA qualification is highly desirable
- Ability to motivate teams and drive activity to ensure the project is delivered to programme.
