Job Description
- Leading and managing the production, transport, H&S and environmental teams to ensure efficient operations
- Overseeing the implementation of site strategies and goals
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- To manage feed production & transport logistics for efficient supply to Moy Park GB farms.
- Managing budget, staffing levels and resources efficiently
- To ensure completion of assigned projects within agreed timescales both the site and central divisions
- To ensure there are no negative environmental impacts arising from the processes within area under review; ensuring that all staff are briefed in regards to their responsibilities as outlined in the Moy Park Group Risk Management System Manual
- Manage the raw material and finished product stock levels and ensure they are controlled to satisfy manufacturing requirements
- Ensure adherence to the Quality Control Plan
The Successful Applicant
A successful Site Operations Lead should have:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the FMCG industry, ideally food manufacturing
- Production process control experience, together with H&S, environmental and transport
- Excellent communication skills
- Professionalism, confidence, self-awareness & integrity
- Full UK driving license (UK travel required)
- Ability to strategise and implement improvement initiatives Inc. continuous improvement projects
- Financial acumen to manage budget and resources effectively
- An educational background in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field - desirable not essential
