About the role:
Astute's Renewables Team is proudly partnering with a key player in the UK anaerobic digestion market. They're a dynamic, forward-thinking and proactive business who're at the forefront of the energy transition and we're recruiting a Plant Operator / Site Operator for them on a Monday to Friday basis.

Responsibilities and duties:

• General day to day operations of a Renewable Energy plant
• Assisting and learning from the more senior operators
• Keeping the site clean and tidy
• Using mobile plant (a Telehandler) to move material and feedstock around the plant and into the hoppers
• Helping to manage inbound goods, spares and parts, logging these to ensure stock levels are always appropriate
• Be able to drive between sites to deliver parts to another site if required
• Assisting the qualified maintenance staff in completing tasks like pump changes, greasing and stripping and rebuilding of key mechanical components
• Other duties as required

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Prior experience In a similar role
• A relevant agricultural or anaerobic digestion qualification is useful
• UK driving licence and vehicle

• Hands on and enjoys being part of a process driven team
