Astute's Power team partnering with a leading EPC Energy from Waste company to recruit a Scaffolding Coordinator for its site in Braintree, Essex.
The Scaffolding Coordinator role comes with a starting salary of up to £60,000 + £6,000 car allowance + 8.5% annual bonus.

Reporting to the Site Manager you will:- Demonstrate leadership and commitment to HSEQ
- Incorporate relevant HSEQ requirements into area of responsibility
- Review and ensure work is carried out in accordance with RAMS
- Ensure safety and HSE performance of personnel under control
- Ensure works executed in accordance with contract and project requirements
- Act as principal contact for coordination of scaffolding equipment
- Chair coordination meetings between contractors
- Ensure scaffolding operations planned and executed by competent persons
- Ensure scaffolding equipment positioned and installed to minimize risks
- Design and pre-plan scaffolds
- Oversee erection of scaffolds
- Inspect and document condition of scaffolds for safe occupation
- Train competent persons, scaffold erectors, and users
- Deliver Lessons Learned and feedback for future projects
- Keep Site Manager informed of site-related activities.
| | | Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:- CISRS Advanced scaffolding inspection
- 1 Day temporary works accredited training course
- Knowledge of British Standards BS 7121 Part 1 2006
- Knowledge of relevant HSEQ legal and management system requirements
- SSSTS or equivalent
| | | Personal skills:
The Scaffolding Coordinator role would suit someone who has:- Strong negotiation skills
- Solution oriented and ability to present these clearly to the team
- Good commands of the English language - other languages a bonus.

- £6,000 car allowance
