About the Role:

Our site at Rogerstone is the biggest in our Meal Solutions division, employing around 1,600 people. It’s a fast paced operation and we’re looking for a Site Services Engineer to join the team and helps us maintain and improve a wide range of facilities and equipment across the site.

You’ll be working as part of a team of 3 engineers on shift, and your key responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking daily planned and statutory checks on equipment across the site and responding quickly to any unexpected issues and breakdowns.
• Covering all facilities and Site Services across the site, from lighting, water, and sewage, through to steam plants, cooling towers, refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
• Proactively looking for new, improved ways of working to minimise downtime and improve reliability and performance.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and that all staff and contractors adhere to legislative and company guidelines.

About You:

• The role would suit a Facilities or Services Engineer with a mechanically biased background, but we’re also keen to hear from anybody with electrical experience.
• Experience of maintaining boilers, steam, air, and refrigeration equipment in a manufacturing environment would be ideal.
• A team player, you’ll be covering all facilities across the site so will need to be willing and able to get involved in a wide range of work as required.
• Experience of legionella controls and ammonia awareness would also be an advantage.
• Preferably IOSH qualified.
