Trowbridge, Wiltshire.
Full Time, Permanent.
Monday to Friday- 8 hours per day.
Salary: £45,000- £55,000 (salary doe, band included for rough estimations)

Randstad is partnered with a globally recognised manufacturing business, who are part of a powerhouse within the retail, consumables and logistics sectors.
We are currently looking to add a Site Services Manager to the thriving engineering department. The main objectives of the role will be to: Ensure the availability and reliability of all Site Services equipment (indirectly through Site Services engineers & plant maintenance engineers) and maintaining and complying with all legislative requirements, with the overall goal ensuring the efficient running of the production facility.
To be successful in this position, we are looking for a motivated and solutions driven engineer/manager. You should be able to demonstrate the following skills/experiences:
- A strong working understanding of boiler house management, including steam & pressure systems.
- Previous experience working as a senior Site Services engineer or Site Services/facilities manager.
- An understanding of legislation/compliance covering: Legionella, pressure systems, steam generation, asbestos management, LOLER, DSEAR/ATEX (beneficial), LEV, waste and water.
- Qualified within a relevant discipline, ideally venturing from a hands-on engineering background.
- Manufacturing/production based engineering experience. (FMCG beneficial)
Reporting in to the engineering manager and having 2 direct reports (Site Services engineers), you role will be challenging, varied and will include:
- Embed and manage the Engineering legislative standards for the site. Provide a site wide support function for all services and buildings, provide focus and improve all measures within the Engineering department.
- Ensure reliable cost-effective utility services to site to optimise the Factory performance.
- Ensure that all work carried out under job holders control meets current H&S legislation and Company policies.
- Support wider engineering team for maintenance issues, effective communications and deputise for Maintenance Manager
