SalaryNRL have a fantastic opportunity with one our growing clients in the Transmission and Distribution industry. Our client are a leading force in Substations both in contruction and general day to day M&E, and they are looking for a highly skilled Site Supervisor to join their team. In this role you will assist the current site manager in running day to day operations on this new build substation, providing key support throughout each stage of construction. The substation is currently in its third phase of construction and we are looking for a Site Supervisor to manage the site team throughout the rest of the phases.
This is a 1 year contract on a 3 month rolling contract basis.
To be the ideal candidate for this role, you will need National Grid NSI 6 & 8 and also hold an IOSH.
Day to day duties:
- Ensure compliance to CDM regulations on site.
- Ensure all setting to work procedures are followed.
- Ensure works are delivered to a programme whilst maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
- Produce reports and provide information in a timely manner
- To provide sufficient and timely supervision and guidance to ensure staff and sub-contractors are performing to agreed production levels
- Other general Site Supervisory duties
This workscope is outside of IR35 and you will be able to go through your own LTD company with a daily rate of £375.00.
Desirable qualifications
- HNC/HND in civil/electrical/mechanical engineering
- Formal training in the above roles
- Impressed voltage training
- Temporary works cordinator or supervisor experience
