Skilled Labourer

We are a small local building company who specialise in level access showers and adaptations for the elderly and disabled in the Peterborough area.

Due to increased workload, we are offering an excellent opportunity for a full time labourer/ with a willingness to learn multi trade skills for an immediate start. The role will require you to work as part of a small team and fit anything from basic wet-rooms through to working on small extensions in and around the Peterborough area.

Within your working day you will undertake various domestic installation tasks such as removal and re-installation of bathroom suites (including removal of wall tiles and floor coverings), as well as some tiling, joinery, plastering and associated work all to a high standard and under supervision.

Using your trade knowledge endeavour to overcome challenges that may arise on a daily basis with cost effective solutions, identify and report faults to enable the company to deliver effective solutions to the client. As health and safety is paramount you will ensure the environment, property, public and fellow employees are safe and secure at all times and are in line with CDM regulations.

To be considered for the role applicants must:

Be a person with the willingness to carry out plastering, plumbing, joinery, tiling and place fittings to a high standard.

Be able to work to a decent speed, with an eye for quality.

Have your own transport, preferably a van, although a works van can be supplied for the right applicant, providing you hold a full UK driving licence and fulfil our insurance terms of use.Own tools an advantage.

Be a CSCS card holder or willing to gain accreditation.

Be CIS registered and be required to have a DBS check.
