Are you an experienced Slinger Signaller seeking a challenging opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Slinger Signaller to join our team for a long-term civil engineering project near Banbury. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a significant infrastructure project and work alongside a dedicated and professional team.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently work with cranes and lifting equipment to move heavy materials and equipment on the construction site.
- Rigging and signalling duties to guide the crane operator and ensure accurate and secure movement of loads.
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure safe and optimal functioning.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS card
- Safety critical medical
- Proven experience signalling in a construction environment.
- Knowledge of lifting and rigging techniques, including understanding of different types of lifting gear and equipment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures and the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
